Templates?

I was woundering if any one new where i could get a Modle template which i could use in milkshape 3d caus ei can never get the body or facial features right so if any kind people could send or give me a link to a basic model i would verry much appreciate it

Im not to sure what you have in mind eg. anime or realistic but if you want to start with a semi-realistic model just crack open one of the the Half-Life models they are all pretty basic and would give a good start to any starting out modeller.

but how can i open a hl model in milkshape??? @ import there is onla a *.smd to import for hl but how ho i import a *.mdl file??????

The reference file. usually name_reference.smd

umm

If i want to export my .3ds to .mdl, how do i do? I do not have the SDK, because i am using... well we can say that i am not using a "registered" 3d studio
