How do you install skins? I know how to install models, but there isn't a skin folder. Please help!

sup hobo, the Skin is combined with the model and all of the things such as animations,model,skin,and etc. are compiled into one small file in the models folder it should go.You can't have a skin without a model.:]

I know that, but I have a skin that I want to use for a model, the model came with 2 different skins, one was in the .mdl file, the other is a .bmp file, how do i get the .bmp file skin to work with the model?

what do u mean by skin? cuz some ppl call models "skins" so it isn't exactly a skin.
anyway, to put a bmp file in a an mdl file the easy way, download half life model viewer. open the mdl u want to edit. go to textures tab. use the drop menu to choose the texture u want to replace. click import. browse to your file. click save model.
