I was wondering, how do you edit a skin. I've been trying for a while and I can't figure it out. Is it in a folder or is it in the models file. Can someone help me? Oh and I use milkshape and 3ds Max.

skiny is hard at 1st..but anyway... 1st skin ya make prolly gonan look plain and cartoony. but then ya start getting more detailed stuff :).. anyway.. programs ya need or should use.. Halflife Model Viewer,Wally. halflife model viewer lets u look at any Mdl file.. mdl=model.. even look at its animation... but once u get hlmv open a mdl file. then click on texture on the bar and it will shows its skin(s).. export them skins.. and open them with wally.. and after u done editeing the skins or making them save it. and import it on the same one u exported it.. example.. i exported vegetas arm skin.. i edited it.. saved it .. and imported the new arm skin over the old one.. :) hlmv, wally those 2 programs ya need for skining.. :).. *got my fingers hurt now* :D..
