go to file, then export, smd is one of the first options. assuming that the file is properly prepaired it should go fine. if it doesnt i suggest reading up on a few hl modeling tutorials as you can only export if all the vertecies are assigned to a bone.

i will be glad when some ppl actually started to read the stickies and use search so we dont have to answer the same question 2 times in 1 month
