how do I open a ESF model so I cant repaint it? Im not doing this to claim as my own work I just want to change some colors on the models for own usage.

You need the Half-Life Model Viewer from:
http://www.swissquake.ch/chumbalum-soft/
with this prog you also can export the skin of the models

Thanks but now when I tried it I see its way too hard for me too repaint (well its not that hard im just lazy) but when I try to make mystic Gohan super saiyan instead I cant get the colors straight and I cant seem to find the model for his hair... well ill post in the request thread about some help instead but thanks for the program

I don't know what you mean, but did you save the model and set the colors from 256 to 16 Million (after editing back)?

to reskin a model you dont need milkshape

half-life model viewer is free and is 200x times mor easy to sue than milkshape

just export the textures of the .mdl file and ur set, no decompiling etc


milkshape is good if you want to remodel it
