which editor

i wanna make my first skin but i dont know which editor to use,my photoshop doesnt do 3d models so thats out, ne1 no werei cn geta good model makin program????????

You only need 2 things...

1) Half life model viewer
2) To know how to draw

You open the model you wanna reskin with the model viewer, go to the texture Tab, choose the texture you wanna change, export it, edit it, and import it again

You can use photoshop to edit skin you only need to export the skin with modelviewer, edit it and import it again. You can use Milkshape www.milkshape3d.com or Gmax [don't know an url, search on goolge]. For some tuts you should check the stickies...
