Ok, Now I have something to show. I finished my video for G-Max modeling. Some clips are a bit fast, so just press pause if you need to read the whole thing. I don't know how to stream it, So Rapidshare was nice enough to let me host it there...

I just finished with the actual tutorial, I just need to put it in avi. format, and I'll put it on the forums tomorrow. It should help even the noobiest noobie ;)

Alright, i'm following mad axmans tut for 3ds max. I'm to the point where you drag the reference into the plane, so the picture is on the plance, when i do this, it does nothing. side note, why whenever i use the 'select and move' tool, and try to move something does it crash? edit... ok...

Whats better? They are both free, which is easier to use, which is more effective, which can produce the best results. And can i do that thing where you load up a ref pic, then plot points to make models and stuff?

how do i change a plane's parameter's to the exact measure's that I want? Keep in mind I am using gmax, and not 3Ds max, they're a little bit different. And how can i scale my model back to fit those planes once they're changed?

Ok, I've decided to toss ms3d and start using gmax. On that note... I REALLY LIKE GMAX! anyway, here is my first (attempt) model in gmax, c + c please (I couldnt get mirror to work properly, no clue why, help me!) (also... I know the neck is too wide, workin on that)
