IMO your border right now isn't very good. It just pops out into something different at random points, and contrasts too much with the sig because of that I think. I'm always down with the 1 px black or white border. 
Random? There is nothing random about that. The triangulars are planned and are spaced some what equally. The other parts are only on the sides....that sir is not random. And it sure doesn't contrast....I like the border...gives it a little depth
Oh well though, that is your preference. I used to use just a black or white line, but after using it well over a hundred times...and seeing it far more, well I just got plain sick of them. You'll see what I mean one day if you keep with GFX.

I have to agree though, it looks awkward. The curves of the pic versus the hard lines of the border clash too much for my taste. Indeed, to me it does look random, and unnatural. Sure there's a certain element of subjectivity to all critiques, but if so many people agree on this, don't you think there may be some weight to that opinion?

Well of course to some personal preferences, but mine is that it goes well which also happens to be the opinion of some of the greatest Photoshop artists I have ever met
.There is nothing random about it though...I could demestrate random if you would like.
If I may ask then, how is the border orchestrated in relation to the theme of the sig? If you tell us that maybe we will understand it better. I don't believe anyone here is saying that the border in itself looks bad, but rather that it looks out of place in context. So if there's a reasoning behind it, we would probably see it in a different light.
The only theme to this sig is to appeal to ones visual sense, the border does such and has a light scheme to match the rest of the image. As for the non randomness look in the 2 corners....both have a little triangle, sure not exactly the same but they have there similarity....same with the vertical holes. The left side is a bit more intricate seeming as how it is the focal point...the only true random parts of it were the bg and the little dark slots on the border(they were merely a test )
)The random of which I speak, is the application of the frame to your sig. Where the pictures are different of form than the frame it is set in. To me it actually seems like the frame is the real focus in your sig, since it's the only thing with visual depth. If that was the case, why even put something complex within the frame that distracts from it? It's like hanging something by Jasper Johns in a Roccoco frame. Unless there's some message that I don't see, it seems out of place.

and most ppl think this boarder doesn't look good in it... I fully agree to be honest, it doesn't fit with the rest of the sig... and it seems to be there out of nowhere.. if u make that kind of boarders normally it would have a function... in this sig though I don't see any.
However, like we all know, it's ur preference because it's ur sig, I'm just trying to help, see what u do with it

They are allowed their opinions but when you all continue to pesture me about the border then I just want to slap you around. Give your opinion and maybe a suggestion or two, do not continue to say the border doesn't go with it continously....I get the point after the first time. We're not all brain dead.

Violent inclinations and bad spelling aside, regardless of what you think there is nothing personal in this. What you don't see is that you don't get my point. You can't ask for opinions and dismiss the ones outright that you don't agree with. As I said, this is my opinion, which I believe is what you asked for. And, again as I said, I am not the only person who agrees. Now by no means should you do something based solely on other people's opinions, but I'd like to think that many of us are trying to be objective. It's not that I disagree with the style of anything, or that I don't like your taste in design. I just don't understand why you have arranged the sig the way you have. That is all.
