Well... I have my model, it's skinned etc. But I'm having some problems getting it assigned to a vertex or whatever. I'm using milkshape.

Aslo just for ex.

You have a CS Model, and a FA model

You take the reference smd from cs (and all the textures)

You take out the reference smd for FA

You change the models around so you have the FA bone/joint stucture with the CS model.

When you stick the new smd in the FA folder, try and compile it, it says "cannot find such such bone" or somethig like that?

So I'm having problems "converting models" with the missing crap
and problems just assigning the bones to a vertex or somethin

You gotta assign every vertexe to the corrisponding Joint/Bone. Its pretty easy just select the Vertexes you want assigned to a certain bone then select the Joint/Bone from the list on the Joints Tab and press Assign and then repeat it for every one.
