I think the second is the most visually interesting and relates the strongest to your visual grounding. Yeah the other backgrounds are nice, but what do they have to do with the topic? I also agree on the the type issues. You could very easily just type "MYSTIC" in straight unadulterated text and it would be more elegant. The barcodes don't really have a place here, maybe scouter readouts would be more appropriate? Just a thought. And stay away from crazy typefaces unless they have a purpose.
