Beethoven, Mozart, Techno(i mean if you just listen to it and create, you can create alot of things). Studies have shown that people work better on beats rather than hard-core music...

But anyhow..just a little blog to get some of your minds going if it helps you at all...here's some of what I listen to:

Simple Plan
New Found Glory
Beethoven
Mozart
Waiting for Autumn
GlassEater
Gob
Disturbed
Sum41
Static X
Slipknot

If you look at those, you can guess what I kind of listened to, to develop certain pieces of art..it really affects the way you create and how your art fits seemlessly. If you listen to rap, studies have shown that you actually do worse on art..as well as some foreign music(spanish, russian, etc).

Hope this helps to get your minds - a - workin'!

Best of luck,

Tim

Baisicly that, I like Punk myself, but not that **** people try to pull off as punk like simple Plan and Sum 41. There not punk AFI is, and most of the above mentioned cept for blink.

I don't know about you guys but anything loud like heavy metal and things like that gives me headachs and makes it impossible for me to concentrate. I listen to classical, really calming classical like Bach's "Jesu Joy of man's desiring" or the extremely famous "Canon in D" but Pachebel of which I have about 20 different variations of.
