Im new to modeling and im using milkshape3d. I saved my model in .ms3d and dont know how to convert it to .mdl Can anyone help????

You need to compile your model and it's animations. Then it becomes an .mdl file.

*EDIT* Found it.

Tools => Half Life => Edit or Generate QC files (to add the animations to your skeleton) => Compile QC file.

This is all I have so you may wan't to ask someone else.

You have to export your save as a HL SMD or something like that...Under the File option, you'll see an Export option which let's you export to HL or Quake and some others. Just pick HL and roll with it, can't be too hard to figure out :)
