does anyone know where i can get one so i can start trying to do edits, or is there some other way of doing it?

In MilkShape3D you can decompile HL Models

So? Doesn't mean you can't download MilkShape3D and use it for decompilation only.

u can download a plgin that allows you to, i dunno where though, i use ms3d for everything

Mail it to me, i use 3dmax to create my models, but i always need to decompile with milkshape... [mail in my sig, i will upload it for other ppl that want it...].
