k i finally got the hang of modeling and im working on a face... it looks really good but in the 3d veiw (on smooth mode) it looks all black with little lighting.. its the same under the flat shaded mode... im i doing something wrong in the program? the model does look good so far.. dont got pics yet tho...

nvm i found out what happend... i made the front view in the face under the side view face and the side view face making the model backwards and insideout:S anyway to fix this?

i'm not sure i understand u, but if it's inside out, try select all faces and go
face>faces to front

or something like that.

also, reverse vertices order does a similar thing

i just remade it... im dyslexic (sp?) so left abd right and other oposits get mixed up in my head a lot... if anyone if willing to post my pics of what im modeling i'd be galn to send them over to ya... keep in mind it is my first try at modeling
