This might work in HL. The base bones mov slower than the ones in the top of the spike. I won't try it myself cause I'm too lazy :p

It IS possible to do thsi type of animation with bones, but I know it's going to be a *****. It will probably take me a couple months, possibly all summer to do this, but I am going to give it my best shot.

Ow i see now it works, but it looks a bit weird like a piramide make it more like the one we now have from ESF but rotating and with more effects, i know a effect but i dunno how to explain it o_o :scared:

I really like this idea, at the moment, i was working on a custom aura model/animation, its really a sphere with alot of spikes, ive animated it fine so that it rotates and the spikes move randomly, all with ms3d, im just struggling to compile, i hope i get it done soon ^_^
