For you're question of adding trees to the map, use env_model. Then select one of the tree models in the esf/models folder. :p

Heh! I tried Gensurf a couple years ago... Didnt come out the way I wanted... Looked all nasty and then I tried to compile. Lets just say I left my comp on for several days staright thinking it would work...
Thats what Gensurf produced? Cause mine looked nothing like that. it looked like a gaint pit of spikes.

lol you idiots, he didnt use gensurf. Those are large not equally sized triangles unlike those used in terrain generators. . If he used gensurf he could have achieved a much more rounded and realistic look because gensurf can easily go into decimal sized units to achieve perfect circles.

Gensurf can use complicated math equations ,but it can also turn grayscale pictures into terrain where i believe white is high land ,and black is low.

And Dudeman, your obviously not a mapper if you think that....... so just do us a favor and stfu before you get banned for stupidity.

And Black mage is wrong, you want to use the cycler entity to repeat the animation of the tree's if they have any. I havent checked.

I am an ex-Mapper for fury of cell.
but i doubt any of you remember it.

And a former clan -DbZ- co leader from 1.4 to 1.8

What has happened to esf since I've gone?! O_O;;; Baka!

before calling me a rude idiot, plz first learn what terrain generators really do...

cuz stryker, it depends on your settings, if you set them right it will not turn into a bunch of spikes, and Son Davie, your link doesnt work for me... but even if you show me, there cant be a pic that proves that u made it urself...

cuz in gensurf u can set the way the vertexes look...
but still let me see the pic...

also im not trying to **** you up or make anyone look stupid,
its just something i recognize in maps..
