Umm I donno what Gensurf is but why do people hate it if
it improves your maps? I dont get it.

gensurf = paraphernalia

gensurf is a terrain editor!
that means, that this progam makes for you natural terrain so you can use it in ur map!!!
But this tool is nothing for a REAL mapper!!!
if you use it, your map is just not made 100% by you. Its like another mapper would map the probably best part of your map and you would sell it as yours!
I had a look at this prog a year ago and I never used it again.

It doesn't matter if your a REAL mapper you still made the map
using what you had at your disposal. Its not like your typing
Impulse 101 into worldcraft.

Its not a cheat its just a tool that helps you.
I'd use it but all I know is that it doesn't matter when it comes to
to people appreciating your work. Its like saying, You can use
Adobe to create nice Graphics, but not Paint Shop Pro cause its
obsolete.
