Euuhh, is it just me, or do you need to blend the characters into the bg's a little better?

They seem to contrast too much and don't look great oO

Mind you the bgs are nice

Wow.. those bg's are really nice! Especially the splash screen one. I love the colour and bg! The pictures seem blended in ok to me.
