fading to white?

you guys know when like in dbz gifs sometimes (in the good ones)



the screen like "fades" to white kinda? like when gohan powers up in this GIF

how do i do that?


i have photoshop 7 and paint shop pro and ms paint

I think they just ad a white layer between the frames..
Not sure though o_o

nah but like when the picture actually fades....like it starts gettin lighter and lighter until its just white



any ideas on how to do that?

simple, just make a fully white frame, and fade into it at X jiffy's, and then fade out a X jiffy's (good "animation" tools have some easy filters, and the like, you can use to do just that)
