I came up with an idea last week , lets use cs/hl maps in esf
then i tried cs_rats2 because it has great open space !
the only thing you have to do is place the needed .wad files
in your ESF folder !

these maps r great fun because they have open space

rats (any version)
cs_dustbunnies
jeephaton (any version)

If anyone thinks of any other cool maps then share yur ideas!

Some one already took a half life map and changed it, so i know what you mean by fun. But isn't it more complicated then simply puting it in your ESF folder, sure, you could simply DM, but i perfer CTDB mode, and for that you would have to specilize it like (arghh forgot who did it) did.

no you dont understand ,you take a cool map from another
mod then you alter the spawn points and add some dragonballs!
that way you have a huge selection of maps! And if you don't
know how to addd DB's or change spawn points then you just
ask a mapper ! Because its pretty easy

ps: Spin i'm not saying it have to be cs maps , its just that cs has
the biggest selection of maps available

I don't think that its cheap to put maps from other mods in esf,
its just fun ! I mean how many custom maps are there for esf , three or four ? So because i'm not good at creating my own maps
I play maps from other mods ! This doesn't mean I don't like the
esf maps, because they rule (great job mappers :yes: ) but if you
play with your friends its just for fun ! I mean the cs maps are
fun but the esf maps r better (and fun) :]

hey, u can play whatever u want and which map u want .. but i still think its cheap ...
btw ... there aren´so much maps coz the beta is just released .. sounds possible eh? .. it isnt very easy to create a good map ... even my 13 yrs old sister can could create a room with 4 walls with a tutorial .. but creating good maps is a way harder than that and takes alot of time (mostly)

BSP to MAP Converters SUCK. All u need is Zoners’ ripent and WordPad When I have Time I‘ll Convert Those Maps (I converted Jeepathon2k A month ago for DMZ)

hey Mystic Roshi here's what you gotta do , put de_dust in your
esf maps folder then try to play it when it loads you'll get an error
message saying "cant find xxx.wad " (it isn't xxx but it can be any name ) then you go to your cs folder and search for that .wad file , then you place it in your main esf folder .
Some maps require several .wad files !

Well I didn´t say that the Bsp - Map converters works like a dream and the result is proberly worse then your worst nightmare.
