ping

can some1 give me some good commands for low ping ? and some tips...

For the past two months I have been getting pretty random and rediculous ping spikes...I'm talking from the 40-50 range up into the 400-700 range. When it spikes, it is almost always when I am radiply pressing keys(i.e. during melee), and only spikes for a couple seconds, but it is making it...

um a couple of days ago i saw somethin called halflife booster but it said u needed admin mod or something does anyone know more about this "booster"?if u do please reply with info and links and how it works and stuff

My CS ping is 17!!! my ping in ESF is 30-60!!!! and i say WTF?!?#@?#!@?$@! how can this be? i have ADSL 1.5 MB i have nvidia GeForce 4 TI4200 128 MB i have P4 1700 Mhz and the most important part that in CS i have 17 ping!!!!! so y esf have such a large ping? my friends have 20 ping...

Like i used to have every server like about 70 - 80 ping now its 100+ man wtf?

My clan have a server and everybody have like 40 ping something like that.... and i want to know if i can improve the server ping and fps some how?

Well i'm having some problems with ping when I joined every sever my ping is like 1,000!! or 500 even more or less but is never less than 100....I have CABLE internet but my dad has the CABLE MODEM so we have a linksys I have my network cable connected to it.So I don't know why I have such bad...

sorry.. cheesing me off MAJOR now.. like, i got a really good pc, plays ut2003 in maximum resolution perfect. but esf.. ARGH i got 150k bandwith and goes great on other games, but when esf, grr.. like, i got esf with mr. satans script that helps ping on, i got the resolnution at 800x600...

Hmm, just a question: I'm under the impression that you need Meta Mod installed to use HLDS ping booster with a dedicated server. So this means that you have to wait for meta-mod to be updated for 1.1 for this to work. But, on the other hand, the first few ESFORCES servers that were up...

Hey, I love to melee (altough it s not so good in the new version, in my opinion) . And i almost always attack head-on :fight:. And there are some guys that start complaining about the fact that it is not fair to attack head-on, that it is lame, .... And then they uselly start blaming it on...

why did u exclude the improvement for beta 1.1 that the attacks are client side? instead of server side? because a ping 130 like me wants to be able to kill a host with melee.

I'm sure it was already noticed that the PING in ESF servers is quite high (when you compare it to other MODs. I've got a 256kb per second modem and in CS (for example) i've got PING ~50 and in ESF i've got ping ~350!!!! Will it be fixed in the next BETA or should I do something? PLEASE HELP...

is it just me or does someone else have this problem: when i play in a server, and have 260 ping, it is as if i hade 600 ping in another game(like counter)

But sometimes, in most of the ESFORCES.COM servers. I move normally. My enemies see me normally. But sometimes when I type the messages are being received like 5 minutes later! Whats up with that? It couldn't be lag cause I had a 200ms ping and I never froze or anything. I was just moving...
