ping

I have serious connection problems.... I'm playing ESF with 56k internet and a 600 megahertz celeron.... Is there ANYTHING I can do to make this computer run ESF more eficiently? Or do I have to upgrade/buy a new computer?

Alright I finally got ESF working, and my sound is a little messed up. I can tell whats going on, but it stutters and skips alot. I thought it was just ping, which I seem to have a high number for in almost all servers :( but I made a LAN game, and it still did it while I had a ping of 0. Go figure.

Good ping Server. Whenever ur online look for my server, it's not dedicated but it's the best ping when u update, mostly will be around /6 in a server server name: MeKs Arena Server ip: 24.100.43.92

My line got hit recently by lighting and my ping has doubled in most of my online games (half-life based ones) Are there any half-life commands I could use to try and reduce my ping? (btw, my telephone company won't do anything, and it's [SAS]Orion's modem, not mine =])

hey again just wonderin if there is any console commands to lower pings...i use the rate 7500 it helps a bit but i need a bit more :P thnx Noobified

I would like to see more maps in the beta with lots o water eg. dockside or over the ocean with a few islands (more water than land maps) and maybe some working thunder like de_aztec. maybe some climate like raining (snow is possible eg. de_survivor --i think--) using sprites or whatever...
