I filled in were the link to the sig should be "http://members.lycos.co.uk/gandalf008/hpbimg/goku%galaxy%20copy.jpg" in. what is my mistake?

take a grafic-program and reduce the size
btw the max. size of a sig is 600x200
you have 600x600

I hate to call anything terrible. But there is a lot of room for improvement. I'm no master sig maker myself, but you could at least use a graphics editor and clean up the images a little bit.

I'd advice using photoshop (if you're not using it already) and taking some tutorials, you will find some nice moves to make a sig.
