heres an update, changes some proportions according to davidskiwan's drawing ref (if you like the older ones tell me), added a scar on chest, hands are skinmapped but arent placed in the UV yet, and other tweeks

body looks nicer, but on my refs i think the head is a little off (proportion wise) so adjust the head to be a little thinner/smaller ;), also make the shoulders a little bulkier

Make that scar more tan. Scars that heal over time dont stay pink like that.
Its not too bad though toast. Looks better proportaion wise, but bulk the shoulders some. Now get those hands skinned properly. :]

only updated the model not skin, did what you guys said, hope it looks better, and shijing thanks for the kind offer, once i get the model's proportions finalized then ill surely send it your way

man i got one problem, his pecks and his 6 pac thing or what ever ya call it! i try follow ref but it looks bad after and i do it right

look at how big he is, his pecs, and his head is more round

What is up with his hands and the scar looks unrealistic.. shouldn't be pink??.. Other than that the model is great

hands havnt been skinned yet,,,,,and he hasnt worked on the skin since he got some crits. Scar needs to be a little bigger as has been said....other then that lookin pretty good

UPDATE:



*little update on the arms skin
*little update on the head skin
*changed whole eye-area proportions ON THE MODEL --> not on the skin!
*saved 2 flat and 2 duplicate triangles --> new polycount: 1564

Will be fixed soon:
*his stomach muscels will be make bigger
*maybe an full animateable mouth?
*making his eyes a big bigger or something like that?? o_O
*maybe a little little bigger scar
*finish the skin
*anything else


I can´t show you an ingame pic or a hlmv pic today, because my host **** off. I uploaded this pic above yesterday... ;/
But i can tell you that it will look ingame very very very similar to the pics above :]

EDIT: If you prefer the "old" head more that i don´t really believe please tell me

That model is pretty awesome Kreshi, but remember the target poly count is around 1400. Try backing up this model and then screwing around until you get it about that low? It'd be a shame if a great model couldn't make it in because the poly count was too high.

hell you could probabaly get rid of that small amount of polys by getting rid of the individual fingers, none of the current esf models have fingers, follow suit, they dont do it cuz its easier ya know ^^

tell me how many people stare at five fingers while zooming around ingame... not to mention only one will be seperatly animated.. more logical to cut back on polys with "mittens" with the fingers skinned on...

i like kreshis.. its just that it'd be nice if he was MORE buffer.. i dont' like his scrony look in DB... i think him being more buffer in the later episodes of DBZ he looked better.. i think because of the better animators DBZ had later..

Crits and comments?, poly count atm is 1600 which is WaY too high so im ganna take a few polys of the legs and face etc :).
