yup, on a second look i noticed so myself...

that ref isnt so accurate after all...
im not the first one to use it and everyone who used it had his character look skinny...

ill make the legs wider, not longer though, same with the arms i guess =D
also, im working on the face now, then ill attach the hair and give it some tweaks =] maybe update tomorrow.

Thats because when goku goes ssj3 his uper body becomes much more pronoucned and more broad, that makes his legs look smaller (in contrast), its the same for all ssj transformations but to a lesser degree the muscles and the bodyframe are slightly altered.

deltoids look too sharp imo where the tricep and the deltoid meet and seem to be wasted polies although a very small amount
and now im off again to not make another post for awhile

UPDATE:



im pretty much done here, im pleased with it, also pleased with the polycount.
i cleaned as much as i could without losing details, even added some.
i also tweaked the hair alot! it looks alot better then before.
as for the face, i had some problems with it at first but then david came and rescued me with a sexy drawover =D
im going to wait a while before ill start skinmapping it, just to make sure im done. =D
also =D i decided to make the cell shaded skin first, and just for that ill add a modeled mouth, got some ideas for renders ^_^!

..nuuhh.. im pretty sure i made a diffrent picture =p i can tell since i uploaded it.
anyway, i did scale them bigger, i dont think i should scale them more, ill wait for more comments. thanks Tryforce. =]

damnit it looks good :) u can use thous zeq2 models in esf btw? i love cell shaded models and all cell shaded stuff :D can't wait for zeq2 and that model wee!!

u can use thous zeq2 models in esf btw?
yes and no, it'll need assigning and a diffrent skin, and no because esf doesnt support cell shading, plus, zeq2 models stay on zeq2.

why do his hands look small to me <_<
i guess they are small then, im having truble seeing my flaws atm heh, any chance for a simple drawover just for the size?

And im waiting for the final version, i mean the skin ^_^!. ^_^! I realy wanna see how it will turn up.
