well how about this...
you transform... and rocks get arround you
and if possible get objects in the air
after transformation is complete
they fall to their pleaces like gohan did in the world tournament saga when he transformed to ssj2 to show the kai his power

When you transform there are allready rocks flying up.

By default they are 2D sprites but you can enable 3D models in the options.

but it's not exactly as said...
and a sprite is lame...
i mean objects like models...
wich are on ground
example as gohan on tournament saga
as said...
and example the rocs get in the air but then they fall back down
wich makes the land clear again...
not sprites wich appear and in a momment dissapear

It wouldn't be super-hard to lift some entities (by specific radius) into the air. But still, isn't very necessary.

Yea thats the select screen. Its not an actuall level.

Its just the select screen background.

and with that base, can't you put it?
Not really. That select screen level is only an animated model that plays the animation when a certain button is pressed.

Having the whole map in animation is dificult since the map itself on a button press is a bad idea. Since lets face it. Lots of people on the map means constant calls for animation changes.

it wouldn't be hard to implement such a feature( tbh it's very easy )
The main problem I see here are the bigger rocks we have in the game like on esf_cell_games. I don't want that they will fly around because someone is transforming with ~2m pl, but the smaller ones should do this. For such an effect the mappers would have to add something like mass to the entities.
That means they would have to do this for each flyable rock, and then recompile the whole map which takes about 8? hours.

Compiling a map can take anywhere from a couple of seconds to a few hours.

Green i think it would be easier to have flotable entities and nonfrotable ones ^^

yeah but the work is the same: recompile the maps :p

True. Though there is a way to compile a map entities only. But that only works when you fix entity atributs. Not when you change entities themselves :s

Im not really sure. But since the whole FGD is changed with that i doubt an entity only recompile would work.

Though i think ready should know more precise about that as i myself have never used that feature yet :s

still can't you make something like press e to move some of the models or whatever wich are only near you only they lift not all of the things on a map
make it like if it's used a button and there are buttons all over you and you simply press e
and that kind of button to be like charging and use button to lift a few things
get it? well i think it's gonna be great
or better yet i just got another idea
when you make a big attack some sort of beam example kameha and you charge it launch it and you hit the ground and after that there is a big hole in the ground example is when vegeta suicided agains majin buu and there was this big hole in the ground
