This is just a thread where you list your philosophical and/or religious beliefs. This is not the place to debate/argue who is right or wrong. This thread is merely A LIST. If you don't know what the person means when he said what he said, there is a cool little site called www.wikipedia.org that will tell you in splendiferous detail.

I'll start. Atheist, nihilist, and hard determinist.

What do you call a person that believes in something as soon as proof has been given? I'm not exactly an Atheist, but I don't believe in a God either. Because I have never seen proof that He(or She) actually exists.

I'm Jewish. And to get into the nitty-gritty I'm Modern Orthodox, so I keep pretty strict Kosher, but I still boink girls and think it's okay.

Pseudo Agnostic

Optimist

I don't know what a description for this is, but I am generally light hearted, kind, and rational. I believe if most people tried to behave more this way (including myself), their lives would feel easier.

Non Denominational Christian, conservative, pro-life, optimist...

I find I have faith in the human race and believe we are not inherently bad as a species.

I can also see so far why exactly I clash so often with the people here.

Hmmm. Unless you've studied philosophy, you can't really say what you are philosophically speaking.

I urge you all to at least read up on Socrates, Plato, Descarte, Locke, Kant, Nietzsche, and probably Husserl and Hume.

Or at least a couple of those since that would be a lot to swallow.

In the meanwhile, I'll begin the ritual required to summon Evil Trunks :O

If you are talking about me, I have read a good bit of Nietzsche and bits and pieces of the rest you mentioned. I like Nietzsche even though he seems to have moments of loving Nihilism and then hating it. I used to have a quote about the ubermensch in my favorite quotes on Facebook until people started thinking I was a neo-Nazi. Good job, America.
