what do you guys think of this new logo i made for my metroid pack?

It looks very well-done. But could maybe use a picture of Samus or something on it if that wouldn't ruin any of the mood.

BTW, how far are you guys on that project? I have been looking at it lately, and the work you guys have been doing is great.

DragonDude: there is actually 3 different pictures of Samus in there , but they are all kind of jumbled up in with the rest of it and beefed up with fx. if i make the pics of Samus stand out too much, then is looks weird. Also, our progress is always posted on the website, or in our forums which are now up, and i must say, look pretty awesome

greentaco: what exactly 'irks' you about it. cause i sort of get what you mean, and im thinking the main text might be doing that because its too transparent or sumthing...

Yeah, I definitely think the text is part of it. Maybe not have it so transparent, or even opaque.

mmkay, i moved the text layer up so it wasnt affected by the major effects, and i gave it a more solid color, wot do you think? has that fixed it? the image is in the first post, i just updated the pic on the server

I don't mean to be stingy or repiditive but, I still think you should have a slightly more opaque pic of samus on the top right.

im gonna work on the background a bit, i think i can make it look a bit better. but w00t! this is the first peice of artwork ive done that ive got a positive comment from everyone wots even better that from wot ive heard of peoples interpretations of it is that ive managed to convey the theme of metroid within that banner
