well i wouldnt like an arround flowing upwards only to find out, after a second, it will shoot back down and flow back up again, but if you animate it really well, which i am sure DarktoothDKD will do, you will hardly notice it but, there is a wallpaper of NeD's Goku model he did for SoS, if you all take a quick look at that...but i doubt it is possible with the HL engine =(

i think they have an idea of what us people would like for the 1.3 Aura

but the thing is, how can you animate it without looking cheesy ( the aura flowing up then reseting so it shoots back down then repeats it self, to be honest, i would be amazed if this works off perfect) (no doubting anyone of course =))

i have a suggestion

have powerup with turbo at the same time, it looks MUCH Better

anyways, heres a gif i made of darksun's aura and warbandit's lightning powerup including turbo

edit the current to look like fire, flame in the wind style that would look phat.

Why just not throw away the normal concept of aura.

Now its a strange whirling thing, and people want to change it.
Just get rid of it.

Why not make it with smoke, turn it yellow, for ssj, and really really fast upwards, so it looks like a aura.

I dunno if this idea is something, it probably sucks, but you never know.

The dragonball budokai 3 aura is impossible... The graphic is 3x better than the one im looking now at esf.

Its very possible on the HL engine. All you gotta do is attach the sprites to the bones you want on the model, then its as easy as coding any other sprite event.

Exactly My Point, Just Put On Some Good Lookin Sprites And There You Got A Sweet Aura.. :rolleyes:

I always did like my Vegeta power up animation i did from old snes sprite rips and stuff...



Anyway i agree make the aura be more like fire and if hl engine will support it do more things when a person is gathering Ki... More rocks some dust being blown around... maybe some lightning especially later on when you can transform higher then 1 or 2 then you can have lightning just when you gather Ki instead of only when you transform... I think that would make it look a lot more impressive
