Help: Reason : Lan Server are Restricted To Local Clients ( CLass C)

The Problem is that this message appears everytime i want to join a game in lan . Can someone tell me how i can join a lan game and fix this problem , thanks

No I really dont know , thats why iam asking the solution of the problem that iam having with the Lan server.

I have no idea what this error is, but I get it all the time. It usually depends on what icon I use to get into the game (CStrike, DoD, ToD, HL...). The CStrike icon works everytime.

Lan is a local area network, differen't from a Wan or wide area network. the internet is a wan, while say a school or small business runs lans. Lans don't use the internet to connect, they connect using a network adapter... in other words, you are trying to join a game that somebody is hosting over their own little tiny network. you will never be able to join that game, look for another one...
