In an alternate dimension, the original creator of Superman made himself gigantic enough to carry a few extra planets that were lying around and dump them in our universe, thereby giving his alter ego in our dimension a means to inspire the imagination of American kiddies everywhere and make millions.

Bush was re-elected thanks to his ability to cast intense mind magic. He got more than half the country who otherwise would have voted for Nader to vote for him by sacrificing several squirrels and a couple of sharks so he could draw the blood runes needed to amplify his mind magic.
