what is a Steam ID and how can i find out my steam ID?

i had to get a new password from steam because i had to use my uncles account but its been like a month andsteam still hasint e-mailed my uncle and when i tryed to regater to there forums 2 days ago they still havint sent me the e-mail has this happend to anyone else??? cause now i guess i gotta...

ok i downloaded steam but i havent got Half Life yet. when i try to load up steam, it would NOT let me load steam at all and a error message pops up and say "Could not load steam (ERROR) steam.dll" what the heck???? any suggestions?? does steam need hl to run?? i dont think so...but anything...

when i try to install it it says cannot load library. What does that mean and why cant i do it?

i just buyed half life 1 and wen i write the cd key in steamt it stands that my cd key is wrong can anyone help me please sory for my bad english:rolleyes:

Hi, being from south africa my steam sits in offline mode most of the time, but when I try to launch the 1.3 Open Beta it tries to create the map, then bombs back to the start screen. It works fine in online mode.
