animations

sup peeps, I have some questions about modeling in Milk Shape 3D. Ive just started to actually try to make a model (which I never did before). 1) Do you have to use the Half Life bones or do I have to create my own? 2) I know this might sound like a stupid question but, am I supposed to...

can u use models from esf 1.0 in esf 1.1 beta....sorry for the question....i pretty sure the answer is no...but im stupid....so it doesnt matter...

I'm still trying to get it ingame.....any help on that? How do I save it and stuff (3dsmax's being a b*tch.....) Also, what's the deal with the animations, if I edit the model but don't touch the anims, the anims stay the same right?

I think it would be a good idea if someone made this a sticky I know that when some people dont give the proper credits, the real moddeler gets mad. And when the model editors use something of one of the esf models they say something like "credit goes to the moddeler of vegeta" or goku or...
