Aye, you can turn it off. But for those functions that you can turn off you still have to pay more money for the thing, instead you know, having the option to not have them.

The Xbox one hates you if you don't have an internet connection, hates you if you travel and want to play it's games, it doesn't trust you to do a whole lot of stuff so it forces a bunch of BS upon you that you have to deal with, I mean god, maybe in a few years you have to complete and send forms three times to microsoft just so they will allow you to still use their machine, and maybe even later it will require blood sacrifices or else the machine will piss itself and die. It hates you if you are in about half of the countries from The European Union as well as other countries that for some reason are not supported by Live, it hates you if you give it used games and requires fees to accept these bloody things and dare I mention again that it makes you pay for bullshit that is put into it that serves no practical purpose whatsoever, but don't worry the gracious overlords will allow you to turn them off if you believe you don't need them, but will discourage you to do so at all times they will get the chance, and they also allow you to share your games with your family and friends at your home. That is a feature, a bloody feature never before seen anywhere on anything: "Share access to your games with everyone inside your home" because we allow you to have this feature, cough we couldn't find a way to restrict you from using this, because laws won't allow the kinect the preserve your identities in databases.

So tell me if hate breeds hate, how in the blue berry donkey bollocks from all the Seven Hells do you think that there even is such a thing as a premature hate train? I mean that is a lot of people that this machine just flat out tells them, your business is not good with me, get some internet, or move to a different country or don't have free will or friends to trade games with, only have friends to make them buy our shit.

I'm completely unaffected by all of the things you're complaining about. I'm forced to buy a kinect? Whatever. It just means that most games on the X1 will use it in some form or fashion. I have to connect to the internet once a day? I'm already connected to Live 24/7. It ****s over the EU? Guess who doesn't live in the EU. This guy. Used games? Not an issue. Especially if they're able to push digital downloads the way steam has, allowing for cheaper games or sales in the future.

Why is this a premature hate train? You haven't used the console. Everything you think you hate about the console is mostly conjecture and wild hyperbole. When we get nearer to release, we'll have concrete details on how, exactly, everything works. What you guys should be focusing is on is the accusations that their games weren't even being running on the X1, or that they're (again) trying to rush out their machine before the PS4, or that the multiplatform games shown on the X1 were 6 months behind the the development of the PS4 version. These are the kinds of things I care about. A kinect? Whatever. I'll put a piece of tape over it after turning everything off.

I personally feel Sony has lost the long run. They have no console exclusives anymore. The biggest loss lately was Monster Hunter and Kingdom Hearts. What has Microsoft lost? Nothing really. Still got Gears of War and Halo.

When I buy a video game console, I don't really care about the "principle of the matter!". I want the better system, I want the one that entertains me most. If Matteus Wegzyn over in Poland can't play, I don't care. You're looking at the future of gaming with the X1. You don't like it, that's fine. No one liked steam, either. But it's going to happen, and fighting against it isn't going to stop that juggernaut from running you down.

That said, on amazon, they have various pre-order bundles for the PS4. I got the Watch Dogs one.

They've already been confirmed as far as whats on the inside. just like smartphones these days, its all about the software. the choice isn't xbox one or ps4, its microsoft or sony. honestly I'd go with sony at this point even though I've never been a playstation guy.

Yes you are unaffected good for you. People like you do indeed have no reason to prematurely hate the Xbone, because you can test it out and see how bad or good it is. It's only 600 bucks or was it 700, forgot just pick the right one, too lazy to check. "Only". But I repeat, almost half of the European union countries as well as plenty of others both inside and outside of Europe that are not Live supported have every single bit of a reason to hate that thing. To have been an Xbox fan despite the lack of live support and now being denied the new system entirely gives them every single reason to jump on that what you call premature hate train. Think emphatically a little bit before assuming all Xbox fans are like you, as in they live in a privileged country, and by privileged I mean Microsoft admits it exists on the map, unlike Poland, yeah that Poland country, it's not like they spawned the company responsible for one of the greatest RPG's of all time and the greatest site for good old games, hence the name. Yeah who ever heard of that plot of land somewhere in the far east? It don't exist. To be honest I don't even know why those guys still develop the Witcher III for the Xbone when they themselves cannot play it.

Now after you've hopefully tried to placed yourself in the skin of an Xbox fan from an unprivileged country that was still hopeful for it's release despite the nonsense, or he denied it's existence, but now won't get it and after you've done an imaginary headcount of how many people there are that are affected by this, ask yourself again why "people" jump on a premature hate train and ask yourself who those people are or could be. Also to not make any unnecessary complications don't bother counting countries that are already in a bad state. Like most of Africa or the ones that have been ravaged by nonsense wars. And of course don't count the Communist ones. I really don't remember if China is Live supported but I'm pretty sure it's pointless to count North Korea. That would make the number unreasonably high, but it wouldn't matter because chances are they wouldn't even have consoles in there to begin with.
Or don't, up to you. You could also look at the facts. They are there, they are not going anywhere.
