That looks so wickedly awesome. ESF is going to be solid gold, I tell you.

P.S. Jason, you just had to use the most generic title name, didn't you.

If you were to make the model face the opposite direction, put him inside of the effect and add a comet tail, it'd be a pretty sweet swoop effect.

You have to use the force to guide your beam

The screen shake is an affect being in proximity of the start blast? :) Looking real good as always though!

The bigger the powerlevel, the bigger the beam size would be cool.

No it would not. It would become impossible to aim.

Besides thats not something our XML system can really do.

I've gotta agree with Sky here. How do you plan on preventing the start of the beam from blocking the camera? While the effect was fancy in the Open Beta, it was huge and blocked a lot of your vision. I'm assuming the current effect is much larger than it was in the previous Open Beta, so how have you guys worked around preventing this issue? Is the minimum camera distance going to be farther away than it was in the previous versions?

Change the camera. Position it high enough to see past the beam. And revert it once it explodes.

What about making the camera controllable via WASD keys while shooting a beam. The camera could revert to its previous position after the beam explodes.

I like hleV's suggestion. Allow us to be able to move the camera anywhere in a plane while using Beams.
