Your starting HP for Goten & Trunks is really low. I don't know any character in ESF, not even Gohan, that starts at that low of a HP. Gohan at least started at 100, then went upwards afterwards. I'd say start Goten & trunks at 100, SSJ 110, Gotenks 120, Super Saiyan Gotenks 130, SSJ3 Gotenks 140. That'll make alittle more sense. Since Gotenks was just as strong as Goku in the series, instead of giving him the same PL as Goku, why not the same Health setup?

Here's my updated list:
  • Fusion Requirements/Limits
    • Powerlevel needs to be equal, or close to equal for both characters.
    • Powerlevel needs to be higher than 1,000,000, and in your Powered-Up/Trans #1 Form.
    • Power is multiplied by 1.5x while fused.
    • While in Fusion:
      • Each transformation cuts time off of the Fusion:
        • Normal Form: 5 minutes
        • Trans #1: 3 minutes
        • Trans #2: 1 minute 30 seconds
      • Turbo also decreases the amount of time left for Fusion.
      • After the timelimit is up, you will remain fused, until either:
        • You are hit into a wall, or the ground, without holding your recover key (Your Jump Key)
        • You run out of energy.
    • Once Fusion is initialized:
      • It can’t be stopped, unless you are killed.
      • Arrows appear (No random arrows), and you have to get 100% of them right, or fusion will fail.
      • If you incorrectly input one arrow, you still fuse, but the fusion is done wrongly, several things happen:
        • Fusion power is multiplied by 1.05x
        • Fusion only lasts 2 minutes
        • Cool-Down time is 4 minutes, due to extreme loss of energy.
        • Only Generic Beam is given to you, and for humor; The Fart attack (If applicable.)
    • Cannot perform fusion for 3 minutes after defusing (This is only if fusion is done correctly).
  • Goten & Trunks (Normal Form)
    • Health: 100
    • Speed: 220
    • Attacks
      • Weaker Kamehameha/Double Buster
  • Goten & Trunks (Powered up)
    • Health: 100
    • Speed: 235
    • Powerlevel Requirement: 975,000
    • Multiplier: 1.15x
    • Attacks
      • Double-Team Generic Beam (Both characters are used for this attack)
      • Generic Beam is removed from list.
      • Kamehameha/Double Buster
      • Fusion Dance
  • Goten & Trunks (Trans #1)
    • Health: 110
    • Speed: 250

no offense but goten and trunks fusing in a game like esf makes no sense and i wouldnt want it implemented if chibi trunks replaces future trunks cus goten and trunks as kids are weak and arent really unique if both of them togther were a seperate thing then sure y not but they really dont have any good moves and if fusion was time limited it would be hell tryna fuse again. hmmm jus dont seem like they would fit in esf. gotenks would but not goten and chibi trunks

You just have to be creative on their attacks, sure their weak seperated, but if you combine them even when they're not fused, they can be quite powerful. The buddy system would help with this. :)

And I do not think they will replace Trunks with Chibi Trunks...

well as long as they dont replace furture trunks i could care less go ahead put him in hed be good wen get to fuse into gotenks but untill then youd prolly get ur asses whipped but wen u fuse its pretty much curtains seeing as he has galactic donut and super ghost kamikaze attack not to mention kamehameha so hed be real good wen u got to fuse but the time limit would really start to become a nusiance after a while bur its balanced.

so sure if he doent replace future trunks im all for it :laff:

I don't think making a new thread about this, would catch the team's attention. They'd just close the new thread and not even read it. It's best to just leave one thread, use it for discussion and suggestions, and not open a new thread each time a idea is finalized within another thread, because who knows, the suggestion in question might not actually be finalized.

~Hyuga Neji~: I don't want Future Trunks replaced just as much as you do. If they do implement this idea, they should just have one selection, that'll say, Goten/Chibi Trunks, or just Gotenks.

I'll more than likely update my description post later on, cause more ideas are coming to mind right now, but they're all over the place, so I can't get specifics right now.

EDIT: The Description post has been updated with new additions, and balancing ideas.

I think my ideas much more balanced.

Level goten and trunks... fuse... go ss...ss3

You stay fused until you die. When you die you have to re fuse.

Well that all depends on how powerful he gets with each transformation, and how strong Goten & Trunks become after they fuse... If you fuse until you die, and he gets a big jump, then it'll start to unbalance the game in a way to where it turns to Gotenks favor... Not a good thing.

The Tien team wasn't made because people wanted Tien in so they started an Operation. The ESF Team was planning on putting Tien in, but they said he can only be in if the community makes the resources

But would the team really turn down a character if:
1. Meets the balanced requirements
2. Other people have already done the work
3. Been tested to make sure its correct
4. The majority likes it and has no objections

somebody still has to code it you know -_- its not as if by magic you can add a character.

I say trans'ing and fusion should be a different thing all together one button for each.

mah idea: You start off as buddy system, you can both then transform (keeping the cf bar... they would have a low trans like early trans like trunks). Fusion should be available at any time, however at the start, untill your powerlevel has gone up, you get more random arrows. When you fuse in normal form your powerlevel will only be x1.25, at the time of being able to transform ssj1 when you fuse there will be no random arows and if you fuse in ssj form it will be... say x1.75 (this adds to the ssj powerlevel), if you're strong enough in ssj gotenks form you can then go ssj3 which will be another powerlevel multiplier.

Does that make sense? i hope so...

That would make Gotenks way unbalanced, considering the multipliers you have down, would make him way to strong, and the ability to fuse at anytime, would also unbalance Goten & Trunks...

But yah, the Tien Community was big, and the team already decided to put Tien in-game, so until the team reads this thread, and approves of the idea(s) that's within this thread, all we can really do is wait, and come up with more ideas for Gotenks.

Or make fusion only possible if, when using the buddy system, Goten and Trunks' powerlevels are only about 100,000 apart

you forget, there will be ssj3's and kid buu's bombing it around, and fusion is only available in bursts, hence why you can transform early (as goten and trunks. I dont know about you but starting with 5 random arrows would be impossible to guess all of them without getting 1 wrong, and then it'd be a failed fusion = a disadvantage.
