you forget, there will be ssj3's and kid buu's bombing it around, and fusion is only available in bursts, hence why you can transform early (as goten and trunks. I dont know about you but starting with 5 random arrows would be impossible to guess all of them without getting 1 wrong, and then it'd be a failed fusion = a disadvantage.

"Arrows appear (No random arrows), and you have to get 100% of them right, or fusion will fail."

Being able to read 4 the win!


Who care's if his transformation is over powerd?
For the dureation of fusion you'd be gaining PL 5 times faster than him , and then fusion ends , and he's left with you whuppin his ass for the rest of the match , includeing your transformation...

Wow, I didn't even know it existed... This thread caught my attention more than the others, maybe that's why. But anyways. This idea has potential, it just needs to be thoroughly looked at, and considered by the team, and be accepted by the community and the team, if it is, then it might be recognized for addition to the game.

Just because the team does the balancing doesn't mean they alone know how to balance characters. The community can set the stats for new ideas, and what attacks, power, speed the characters get, all they need to do is work together to come up with a balanced work that'll have advantages, and disadvantages.

I mean c'mon guys.. nobody of the ESF team has even posted in this thread, and i personally think that once they saw the word "fusion" in this threads title, they didn't even look at it...
Can't really say i can blame them..

I'd like fusion as well, and the idea sounds good, but i just don't think it will happen... ever..

fusion was rejected but that was BEFORE they came up with the buddy system. With the buddy system it brings the possibility to do it by yourself

and by the way just coz the other members dont post in here doesn't mean they haven't discussed it.. most likely there is a forum for the team members where they bring up differnet topics

and the reason why they said no fusion was because it would bring up problems such as who would control the fused character, etc. but the buddy system eliminates this argument.

well even if the team doesnt decide to put this fusion in it would be a good idea to consider jus putting in gotenks as a regular character that seems fair enough

if anything , i think we should wait to see what the buddy system is exactly like before this is implemented , so you can experience it first

Its there own rule to break. Arguing over a suggestion saying its not going to be in is pointless. If you have a good reason why it shouldnt be in state that reason, not cause of the ESF team.

Besides, some things stated by the ESF team before has been broken in the past.

see, there is absolutely nothing that makes us implementing a sort of fusion where two human players fuse with each other. simple as that. and we dont need to explain any reasons for that anymore cause we did that already countless times. just take the fact that we will NOT do that cause we dont want to
but
a playable gotenks char could be possible using the buddy system.
i.e. form1 goten, form2 goten with kid trunks as buddy, form3 gotenks.
