Yes, now stop spamming my thread.

Due to untold circumstances (we're fixing the livingroom), my story has been delayed, but I promise I will either have another section of the story by tonight, or I will kiss Cucumba.

*looks around to see if anybody notices the time*

I've added some "cameos". Hurley Boy, PcJoe, Ghostfacekillah, Cheesumba, and Nightshade.

The chains snapped. Bob was thrown backwards having been caught off guard, but he was smiling even as he struck the cage. He had broken them...finally. After having tried a variety of techniques, he had probably just weakened them to the point that pulling was all he needed. Either that, or somebody out there had helped in some way. Maybe Ryoko, if Chitenga hadn't done anything to him. He stood up and shook his head and looked down at his arms. The chains had been snapped, but around his wrists were a pair of wristlets, still buckled. It didn't really matter since the middle link had slipped off when he stood, but it still made him see that he was a captive. He wasn't the God he was before.

The cage door opened, and Bob jumped. Nobody was there. Bob stared at the door for a moment before stepping through. Maybe somebody really was helping him. Which either meant Ryoko was safe, or Farago had done it. Bob had excluded the thoughts of Chitenga helping him--Chitenga would never do that--but why would Farago? Then again, who else was on the ship? Who else would Chitenga trust on the ship?

"Farago?" Bob asked, in a half-whisper. There was no response at all. No tumble weed, like in the movies, no creepy voice crying in pain, no creaks, no sounds of electronic, it was just nothing. "Farago, are you there?"

Once again there was no response, so Bob just walked. He had to find Ryoko anyway, so he couldn't wait for the mysterious whatever-it-was to show their face to him, or talk to him.
*~*~*~*~*~*~*~**~*~*~*~
Getting off the fake Earth was fast and easy, and soon Rog and Dak were staring outside the window of Falcon's best ship as he drove them far away. Rog checked her watch and discovered just how fast they were flying. Dalamar would never notice them. They landed at another ship, one which had the name "Lone Wolf" scribed across the side. Rog couldn't help but hiss.

Hitokiri stood in the center of five people. He was taller than the rest, and added to his dark eyes and hair he stood out from the rest. The light haired traders around him, Ghostface Killah, Hurley Boy, PCJoe, Cheesumba, and Nightshade were their codenames, watched the ship land, and smiled as Falcon stepped down from it. A cat and a wounded Aleni dragged along behind them bounded slaves.

The slaves were an interesting sort all wearing the starfleet jacket. One was dead and one was injured, but the other two were in good shape, even though one of those two was fat. Rebel O'Gear smiled at Hitokiri as she dropped the fat one, and licked her lips.

"How much moola are these pests worth?" She asked.

Hitokiri stepped forword and the rest followed. "Hmm... well, the dead one is worth nothing, the injured one..." He froze as he saw the face of the slave. Rog and Falcon exchanged looks of confusion. "...the injured one is worth any amount you name."

Falcon narrowed his eyes, and growled. "What is Glenn to you?"

"Glenn is his name now? I pity the real Glenn." Ghostface said.

Dak gave them a funny look. "Explain!"

Hurley Boy pulled something out of his pocket and handed it to Dak. He wordlessly walked away, and out of the room. Dak started to press and try and turn on the object, but Falcon and Hitokiri both halted him.

"Look at it later, now is not the best of times." Falcon said. "Hitokiri, we ask for a hefty price of your choosing, because I don't want your operation put out of business."

"Of course you wouldn't. How do you think you buy your ice, anyway?" Ghostface said, grinning.

Hitokiri looked at his traders, and smiled. "Boys, I think that maybe you should go hunt somebody, eh?"

They all nodded and left. Dak watched them go, all the while thinking "robots". Hitokiri took Falcon's arm and pulled him to the side, whispering into his ear. Dak noted the look of curiosity on Rog's face, and smiled. Curiosity killed the cat. Falcon's face shifted from a slight surprise to a large amount of fear. His skin went pale, and his eyes widened. Dak had never seen that expression on Falcon's face before. No, the expression of terror wasn't exploited on the stern stony mask that the greatest sniper wore. It was alien, but Dak loved it. It was an expression he had tried to get on Falcon's face for a long time.

"So...then...what?" Falcon asked, as painfully slow as he could.

"Leave the fat one and the dead one with me, but we don't take humans or...him." Hitokiri said.

"But, you said any price." Rog said, purring.

Falcon turned to look at her. "This sort of sale is beyond Hitokiri, Rog. We should take it to Naz."

"Naz?" She hissed. "Another slave trader?"

"No." Hitokiri said. He walked over to Baku and the dead Domino. He lifted them up onto his shoulders and left the room. He then came back, and smiled at them. Dak and Rog didn't like being left without an explanation. "Naz is the one to bring those to. He isn't a slave trader, he's a mercenary, like yourself. But he does it in a far better sense."

"Is Scooter human?" Dak asked, realizing who Hitokiri had been talking about.

Falcon and Rog ignored him.

"So...what do you mean?" Rog asked.

"I mean, go to Naz with this one or we will all die!" Hitokiri turned around and Cheesumba came back with a small card. He handed it to them, and Dak's mouth twitched with anger and disgust. It was a credit card. "Take that to Naz, and he'll give you my money for it."

Falcon nodded, and then dragged Glenn and Scooter back onto the ship, along with Rog and Dak.

Bob had sneaked around the shop long enough; he learned he wasn’t going to get caught. Chitenga was extremely busy with studying some strange cube, and Farago seemed to ignore him, which fed Bob’s suspicions about him. Walking along the walls as slowly as possible, he made his way into Chitenga’s laboratory. He knew who was after, and what he was doing, and couldn’t afford to waste much time.

Ryoko was sleeping calmly in a pair of handcuffs, and only woke when Bob shook him. He yawned, and then smiled at Bob.

“I knew you would get out.” He said, as Bob examined him. He had a scar across his bare stomach, but that was the only damage. “I’m not...” Ryoko stopped in mid-sentence and stared up at the door.

“Hmm, so you escaped.” Farago said. Bob spun around, and gripped for anything that would work as a weapon. A syringe was all he found. “Don’t get so jumpy, Bobby. Those things won’t pierce my skin anyways.”

Ryoko scooted onto his feet, and stood a little behind Bob. It was comforting for both of them for Bob to be up front. Farago frowned at them, and shook his head.

“Well, what are you waiting for?” Bob challenged, holding out the syringe despite everything.

“I’m waiting for you to put that down and come to your senses.” He said. “You might think I’m some sort of animal who sits on a leash and waits for his master to say ‘sic’, but you’re wrong.” He grinned, barely his fangs. “There’s an exit at the end of the ship. Once you get out, find my brother. He has a teleportation device on him that will take you to Earth ahead of Chitenga. It will only work once, though, so make sure you get to Earth.”

Farago gave Ryoko a glance, and then walked off, wagging his tail like a puppy that just got a treat.

“I hope that the teleportation system doesn’t have ESP.” He said, rubbing at his scar.

Bob didn’t bother asking because he already knew. Chitenga was almost as crazy for bombs as Hibiki and Gasaraki were, but Chitenga liked putting them inside of people. Bob looked sadly at Ryoko, and sighed. He couldn’t take Ryoko, and he knew it. The minute Chitenga saw that Ryoko was gone he’d blow him up. Ryoko knew this too. He looked back at Bob, and frowned.

“Stay here.” Bob said, finally. “Don’t let Chitenga near you, and don’t turn your back on Farago. There’s something about him that doesn’t quite fit.”

“Yes, captain.” Ryoko said, studying his boots like they were interesting. “But other than Farago’s sudden increase in intelligence—at least the speaking part of it—nothing’s odd about him. Just like you, he wants to escape the fate of his kind.”

Bob sighed. He couldn’t, shouldn’t, and wouldn’t accept that.

Reluctantly, Bob left Ryoko standing in the middle of the lab, and escaped through the back. He borrowed Chitenga’s pod to help him do it, but he did. Taking a wild guess in which direction, Bob flew back to where the fake Earth would be. He had to find Rebirah.
*~*~*~*~*~*~*~**~*~*~*~
“So, you and your brother kill people for your father?” Jessica asked, feeling quite comfortable around the furry man now.

Rebirah nodded, holding Jessica tightly in his arms as they sat together on the only spot of grass they could find. He was falling more in love than ever staring at her beautiful face and listening to her soft voice. It seemed to sing every time it opened, and Rebirah was swaying with the music. Jessica laid her head against his shoulder, and wrapped her arms around his neck to keep from falling as he rocked.

“My brother...I hope he’s okay. Chitenga was always so mean to him! It’s a pity that fathers are like that sometimes.”

“Mine wasn’t.” Jesse said. “Mine was so nice. But he died when I was young.”

Rebirah stopped rocking. “Does it ever hurt to be alone?”

She flashed him a smile. “Not really. After my mother died when I was twelve, I went up into the training academy. I met several people there, and I guess I drowned out the pain with them. Vee especially. You know, when I first met her I thought she was in love. Her eyes were glowing, and her face was smiling constantly. Even when she was mad she looked happy. She wrote this guys name over and over again in her notebook, and would even break out in tears when she was reminded that he wasn’t with her.”

“I want that.” Rebirah said. “I’ve never had anybody who would cry for me if I disappeared.”

Jessica sighed. “Not even your brother?”

“No, not even my brother.”

They sat in silence a moment longer, and it drove Jessica crazy. She wasn’t sure why, but every time she looked at Rebirah she felt that warmth inside. It was like being with Vee, only much deeper. It was her first crush. She inhaled his scent, though dog-like, and petted the fur on the back of his neck. He was so wonderfully beautiful and youthful, but filled with knowledge and wisdom that was incomprehensible to the average being.

Sighing, she closed her eyes, ready to go to sleep in his beautiful arms. He sighed too, but he wasn’t of content. It was quite the opposite.

“Yes?” She asked, opening one eye.

“Jessica...I, um...” He looked away, blushing. “Jess...are you sure you can’t love me?”

She blinked her eye, and then closed it again. She couldn’t make herself refuse him twice. She opened them again and moved her hands up to the back of his head. She pulled him close, and pressed her lips to his. His eyes widen in shock at first, and then he pulled her further into his mouth, wanting to savor the moment.

The held their kiss until the metal pod crashed into the dirt beside them, spraying them. They both stood up in shock, and watched as Captain Bob came out of it, wiping his hands on his pants. Rebirah got into a fighting stance immediately, but Jessica touched his shoulder, reassuring him.

“Bob? You’re...you’re alive?”

“Yes, I’m alive.” He looked at Rebirah. “You’re still alive too? He didn’t kill you?”

“No.” She blushed as she answered. “He didn’t want to kill me.”

“Won’t Chitenga blow you up?”

Jessica gasped, but Rebirah smiled. “No. He always forgets about stuff like this. His attention is easily taken away.”

Bob nodded, and then walked over them. In a quick movement, he kneed Rebirah in the stomach. Rebirah doubled over, gasping for breath, as Jessica screamed for him to stop. He reached into Rebirah’s pants pockets, and found nothing. There was no device at all.

“Where is it?” Bob asked, getting angry.

“The...bomb...” Rebirah said, holding his stomach tightly. “It’s in the bomb.”

Bob stopped searching and stared at him. “What did you say?”

“Chitenga put the teleport in the bomb inside of me!”

Bob growled, and pushed Rebirah’s head to the ground.

“Stop hurting him!” Jessica demanded. She punched Bob hard on the shoulder, and he turned around to glare at her.

“This creature was made for killing. He won’t ever be your boyfriend, as you hope.” Jessica’s blush deepened. Bob helped Rebirah stand up, and then pushed him forward and onto his feet. “Get us to Earth now!”

Rebirah sighed. “Okay.”

Aaroan had just stepped out of the shower when Howdy came in and started explaining the extreme necessity to know exactly where Dalamar’s base was, and the extreme danger of not knowing. He walked about the room, waving his hands around as he spoke while Aaroan dressed himself. He knew what Howdy wanted from him, and he was debating it with himself as the captain babbled.

Howdy could do anything he wanted to Hibiki and Bee if Aaroan didn’t comply, and vice versa. Aaroan didn’t want to see his friend—more of a brother, in one sense—get hurt again, nor the young child. But Howdy’s personality wasn’t cruel and barbaric; he wouldn’t even think about that. Or would he? It was the only factor that Aaroan could find that he was afraid of.

“...all of the world is depending on me! I’m like a hero to them...”

Then again, Howdy could always hurt him if he didn’t obey, which also wasn’t good. He could go to jail, again, or be drafted, again. Hibiki could easily lose the medical help that Howdy was giving, and who knows what they’d do to a young clone. Possibly kill her.

Aaroan made up his mind to assist Howdy, and sighed as he slipped on his boot.

“...and besides which, imagine if Bob were to be killed!” Howdy smiled. “Well, that might not be so bad considering...”

“Howdy?” Aaroan asked. He enjoyed breaking up the arrogant conversation Howdy had been holding with himself.

“It’s rude to interrupt and not call me by my proper name, but yes?”

“If you want directions to Dalamar’s base, I’ll give them to you, okay?”

“Splendid.” Howdy stopped pacing and turned to give Aaroan one of his charming smiles.

Dalamar scowled as he stared at the screen. Everybody was heading towards Earth, all of those Starfleet members, with all of their captains and all of their guns. He had expected, and counted on, Howdy and possibly Glenn, but not all of them. It was a small change in his plan, and it could hurt him if he didn’t play the cards right. But Dalamar was very good at what he did, so he wasn’t worried too much.
