Okay, the one I took away, you will never see the original, it's too shameful, has been rewritten. Here y'all go:
Howdy stared at the planet, and secretly congratulated himself for being right, again. Here he was, on the real Earth, while Bob, his arch rival, and perhaps the weakest legend Howdy had ever heard of, was on some fake planet, telling himself that Howdy was foolish. Howdy couldn't wait until he could rub another mistake into Bob's ugly, and stupid looking face. No Human was going to have the reputation of being smarter and stronger than Howdy, the Aleni. Now, all Howdy had to decide was whether he was going to wait for Commander Abrophis, the one that had control of over ninety thousand troops, or attack with his mere eight hundred. Dalamar had many troops, but all of his were dumb, and slow. Howdy could take them if he tried.
Caff, Lieutenant, and Cadet, the three pilots, were standing behind Howdy, waiting for his call. He didn't need to see their faces to know they were afraid. Pilots were always afraid.
"We're going to strike." Howdy said, standing up. "Now."
The pilots cringed at the sound.
"But, sir." Cadet said, with his girlish voice. "Couldn't we wait for Abrophis first?"
"No. I don't think we'll need them."
Lieutenant shook his head. "Is this anuther ploy ta try and beat Bob?"
Howdy wasn't shocked, but he was angry. His rivalry was obvious, but they always assumed that every choice he made was based on it. It wasn't. He made a lot of choices without even thinking about Bob. It was discriminatory for them to think that. But, they were just Cadets and pilots. They weren't captains, like he was, or commanders, like he was going to be. They were just the infintry.
"No, it's actually a ploy to try and free a bunch of human slaves from a cruel master. Do you not want to help them?" Lieutenant narrowed his eyes, and said nothing else. "Glad you're with me. Now, get the troops, and let's head out. We won't be wasting any more time dawdling."
Caff and Cadet ran in to get the troops, but Lieutenant just picked up his scanner, and began to mess with it. Howdy didn't like him much, even if he was related.
"Ma scanner's picking up two lifeforms ta the east." Lieutenant said, forgetting the "sir" that Howdy had rightfully earned. "They're moving at ten MPH, and er heading right fer us."
"It's either an animal, or maybe one of Dalamar's men."
"It says it's not animal."
Howdy growled and snatched the scanner from his incompetant nephew. It read two G type aliens, and one half-human. Howdy didn't know who the half human was, but he recognized the G types immediately. They were two young men who had been drafted for the army, but had dodged it by making the drafter go in and check on their tea; they had blown up an entire mall on "accident"; and they were both short-tempered and the worlds most obnoxious men. Hibiki and Aaroan. Howdy never wanted to see them again, he never wanted to even remember them again. They had caused too much trouble, and when they were imprisoned, they just broke free. Howdy had spent enough money and time on them to go crazy, and he wanted to get rid of them for good.
He squeezed the scanner, and it broke in two. Wires and chips hit the ground beside Howdy's feet, and he couldsee bullets, blood, and the perfect escape. He could get rid of them for good; he had eight-hundred men with loaded weapons and a sharp-shooter's trained eye. He smiled as he thought of it, and then turned around to face his nephew.
"Let's go East, shall we?"
Caff and Cadet came out with his troops, and they all followed obediently. Hibiki and Aaroan were running into their own coffins, and they didn't even know it. Nothing else could make Howdy any happier.
Hibiki had longer legs, and they carried him farther and faster than anyone Aaroan had known, but that wasn't the reason he had to be up front every time. It was an annoying habit that Aaroan hated, but Hibiki did it by habit, so Aaroan couldn't justly blame him. He did anyway, but it wasn't justly. Hibiki's red jacket was flying in his face, and the cactus on the back was mocking him and saying "Slow poke". He wanted to tear up that cactus.
"Where are we goin'?" Hibiki asked.
His voices was barely distinguishable by the wind in Aaroan's ears, but he could understand anyway. He had been running with Hibiki for nearly ten years, so he had trained himself to hear those things. Loud people got on Aaroan's nerves as much as Hibiki's long legs did.
"Let's go to the caverns! Dalamar can't find us there!"
Hibiki nodded, and sped up. He disappeared around the corner of a mountain, and Aaroan sighed. HE followed, trying to catch up to his friend. It wasn't fair. It just wasn't...
Something caught Aaroan's leg as he made the turn, and he fell face flat onto a rock. He couldn't feel his nose, but he could taste the blood pouring out of it as he slid across the ground as if it were ice. He hit a boulder, and came to a painful halt with his legs stuck up into the air. He could hear some noises, something like baby talk, and he felt a hand grip his leg. The pressure on his neck and face was suddenly gone as the ground move backwards, and he could see Hibiki's legs. He hated those legs.
"Are you a'ight?" Hibiki asked. "That looked painful."
Aaroan didn't say anything. He just grunted out what was the worst human cuss word he could think of, and closed his eyes. The blood rushing to his head, plus the pain from hitting the rock, gathered and made a big headache. Aaroan wanted to go to sleep, he didn't want to suffer the headache. Then he heard it again.
"Who's dat?"
Aaroan opened his eyes, and let out a shriek. There she was, the girl had caused all the trouble, standing in front of him with her chubby little arms behind her, and her curly hair looking so cute in pigtails. Bee was smiling, and her little maryjanes were kicking the pebbles in a bored fashion. Aaroan shrieked again, and Hibiki dropped him. He landed on his stomach this time, so it didn't hurt, and Aaroan sat up slowly, mesmerized by the girl.
Hibiki looked at her, then back to Aaroan. "Well, we found her again. Maybe if we give her to Dalamar he won't kill us."
Aaroan thought of it for a moment, and grinned. It was true. If they brought the girl back, they had done their jobs, so Dalamar wouldn't kill them.
"Yes, he would." The girl said. "Dawamaw's mean."
Hibiki looked at Aaroan. Why was Aaroan always the one making the hard decisions?
"Let's give her to Dalamar, but only after we see if he won't kill us first."
"How do we do that?"
"We'll take her, and hide her in the caverns, then we'll go back to Dalamar and tell him about her. We won't tell him her location, so that he can't kill us then go and get her, but we will demand money and protection before we lead him to her. After we get the money and protection, then we'll take one of his ships, and fly to the other side of Earth, where we'll be safe."
"Good pwan, but he'w get you." Bee said. She pulled a piece of candy out of her shorts pocket, and placed it in her mouth. "He doesn't like you."
Hibiki looked at Aaroan. "She's got a point, y'know."
"Well, what do you suppose we do then?"
"Let's go to Howdy, take his ship, and fwy away!" Bee said. "We'w go home. Back to Vee!"
Hibiki looked at Bee, and smiled. "I like her thinkin'."
"Alright. We'll take Howdy's..." Aaroan just realized the name. "Howdy? Howdy's here!" Bee giggled as Aaroan shot back onto his feet. "My God! That's even better! Let's go find Howdy, and tell him where Dalamar's base is!"
"How will we keep him from shootin' us?"
"Like we always do. With brains and wits."
Bee giggled again, and Hibiki pulled a fire cracker from his vest. "Hey, for helpin' us with a plan, you can have this, little woman."
She took it and put it with her candy. "Can I go wif you?"
"Can she?" Hibiki asked.
Aaroan shot him a glare. "No. She's caused too much trouble! We are not taking her with us!"
"But, she's just like us, y'know. She's tricky, she's trouble...she's like the little sister we never had!"
Aaroan sighed. He knew he couldn't win in an argument with Hibiki. Somehow, the longer legged G always managed to con Aaroan into doing whatever it was he wanted. Aaroan had a headache, and wasn't up for struggling that day. He nodded, and the girl let out an ear shattering scream. She jumped onto Hibiki in her excitement, and began to sing and clap. Hibiki enjoyed it, Aaroan did not.
"Howdy's dat way!" She said, pointing.
Aaroan turned around to look at the West, and sighed. How would she know? Hibiki started running, and Aaroan growled as followed. There he went again, always the leader.
"Wait for me!"
