Not fully. You have to move it to the new location after HL updates. And HL only updates when you try to run it.

Afterwards youll have to connect using IPs, since the server browser doesnt work.

I have esf in both the old folder and the new one... I didn't do anything though, so I guess it's automatic...

For me it simply got rid of the old location and moved half-life and ESF to /common. I do have that camera issue but it's an easy fix. Aside from that, the new resolution options plus full/wide-screen support(without warping) is VERY welcome. Overall it does seem to make for a smoother experience.

Also, in light of that server ip list, does this mean that the tourney will be back on again? I'm quite eager to see who will win.

Yeah! New update made me lag alot...
I was getting freezed every time i tried to glide.

Hope they fix that...

Favourite servers were joinable even after update!

If anybody still has trouble with ESF after the update try this:
-turn off vsync in video options of ESF

Enter the following commands:
cl_cmdrate 100
cl_updaterate 100
rate 25000
fps_max 99

It fixed it for me and works perfectly now

Someone had mouse problems in CS, try these launch commands(dno if it's good for ESF):
-noforcemspd -noforcemaccel -noforcemparms -nojoy

Steam --> Library --> Right click on ESF --> Properties --> General tab --> Set launch options and set them in there, do the same with HL1 as well.
