Don't wear heavy armour as a thief, it decreases your sneak skill, indirectly.CM said:I currently have a steel helmet and shield, steel boots, chainmail bottom and top, chainmail hand-wear, and a charged debaser I nabbed off a corpse. I also have an extra 700 gold I need to spend, as well as a 1100 Gold ring given to me by Thoronir.
How so? Do you mean that it makes noise? Cause I take it off at night when I'm robbing stores. Or is there some other way of decreasing sneak that I don't know about?Cold Steel said:Don't wear heavy armour as a thief, it decreases your sneak skill, indirectly.
No way, I'm a level 6 thief/assasin myself. And I got trough the Arena easily all I needed was my light dark brotherhood armor, and a silver long sword I grabbed of a guard when I killed him. But heavy armor is useless to a good thief, it just makes way to much noise. A thief needs light armor, and no boots or very light boots so you can sneak.CM said:<_< I sort of need the shield and the helmet to survive in the Arena (not really, I still haven't passed level 1 because I suck at fighting). I'll sell them eventually.
Get a good weapon. I have a short short that does a reasonable amount of dmg + an instant drain life ability. If that adds to the x6 stealth crit, you can take out allmost anything with one hit. And the heavier you are, the more noise you make. So be carefull when you're pulling a heist.CM said:How do you kill with one hit though? It's extremely difficult, if not impossible, for me. The only time I murdered someone without being caught was in a shack outside the imperial city. I killed the resident while he was sleeping.
Exactly what are the powers for being a vampire. I had that one guy bite be but it like errored or something cause I still haven't become one. It makes me angry!Zeonix said:Yeah, man. The Dark Brotherhood has the most insanely fun quests I've ever done.
I've also just become a vampire, and wow. I cleared out 4 dungeons with absolutely no problems whatsoever. Sure, I hate daylight now but the powers are completely worth it. I've also spent all of my money on a black horse. Its the fastest kind that you can buy, but my speed rivals it. I own.
