Superman vs Silver surfer topic

Again, I really don't know why these topics come up, seeing as you can't simply categorize most of the heroes but yeah, Silver Surfer is another one of those "13 year old wet dream" characters and is designed to be infinitely powerful.

Ok, cmon now. The Surfer can create black holes and travel across galaxies in minutes. That's pretty infinitely powerful to me.

Why don't we use Superman Prime One Million vs Silver Surfer,i suppose Superman beats him then.

Lots of beings are more powerful than Silver Surfer. If you're comparing him to Earth heroes, then yeah, he's really powerful. If you're comparing him to other cosmic beings, then he's not that powerful. He's also held back by his conscience often. He'll be fighting someone while worrying about their wounds.

In a lot of Surfer fights, he just talks a lot while trying to avoid actually fighting. Here's a typical one where he went to Asgard to try to get something for Galactus:
