Taking a break from my map for a day or two and gonna spend some time on this character model I've been working on for about an hour or two. Over these past few months I feel like I've learned a lot about modeling even though I've just been creating random buildings and terrains. Anyways, heres picssssssss, moar to come later:

Also, Glode, that looks awesome, man. Any chance for a wire shot?

Edit: I say I've had my night of fun.. back to my map. I suppose I'll do some more character modeling in a few months

nice work there dam, I don't do much character work anymore (..well not done any in moooonths) so cant really give any useful comments :S looks good there though, and I agree with Denz.. finish it.. NAO! D:

A bit of sculptris modeling

hey everybody,

I've seen somebody's using sculptris and decided to have a try. This is what I've got so far

Back then you'd get a warning for Nudity on the Forums. Dunno if it has changed.
As for the first try it looks cool.

well, i never really agreed with that rule, but its still technically not allowed.

for now though, ill remove the image but leave a link.

Nudity is not necessarily porn, so I don't get why it would be against the rules.

Its nudity in general, doesn't necessarily have to be porn. Since its just a 3D mesh its alright. Not entirely sure why the model has nipples anyway, kind of unnecessary in my opinion.

Its alright. Like I said its just a 3D mesh, no model texture, so its not really showing anything too realistic.

What Nuttzy did with the disclaimer will do just fine.

you have to remember, this is a message board with a fairly young target audience.

what we view as art, could still be viewed as "OMG BOOBS" by younger kids or overly strict parents, Im SUPPOSED to just delete the image in its entirety, and ask that you post a censored version. But Like I said, I never really agreed with that rule., so im putting my own spin on it .

very very early shot, im reteaching myself max after a long hiatus. 99% chance I wont finish it, but who knows. I need to make a better version of this character for esf to help forget the last 2
