The UVs aren't completly mirrored, the only parts that are mirrored are the arms and shoes.

wat r u talking about shady, the only thing i see thats mirrored is the arms, and maybe the feet

Didn't see a point at making a topic about this model, nothing great. Its based of a person that sent me ref images, U.S Airborne trooper within 101st (ww2 of course)

Im still geting used to human modeling, finding it hard =/.

Uh.. there is a shadow under his cheeks like those pants are really, really, (really) really tight. And it's like his crack is just sucking in the pants. But did you mirror the model? That would explain the line down the middle

Yeah its mirrored as im still working on it, the pants are meant to be baggy. Looks like i've pull in the "butt" area too much and doesn't look baggy.

Thanks for pointing that out for me though.

the guy in your ref has way too much equipment IMO looks hard to move

Yeah the stuff he has on is the 101st ready to jump equipment, im modeling the ready to fight version though.

So I have that image as a base, then alot of research images of how they looked later on in the war etc. Mine will have a backpact type thing, some arrmo packs, nades,shovel etc.

Nope, im a WW2 buff so I normaly model anything WW2'ish lol.

Think I might make a topic on this model, its coming on well.

meh .. I figured id work up on low poly a hair.. This is a bug I made a long long time ago. .. it was around 600 polies before .. I just went back and hacked as many polies out as I could x]

this was my entry for the comp till I lost interest at the thought of doing his hair, still working on him and planning to normal map him. Heres a quick mess around with the materials, yeah the colours could use some tweaking goodness =D
