err, i'd think it'd be cool if you could save ur pl

like being able to save ur pl, through some kind of console command, etc.

coz it gets annoying having to get to a real high pl then lose it

but this'd be real unfair to those who don't play it, n00bs, etc.

but its just a suggestion

Ehm right, so you start a server with a pl of 800.000.000 and someone joines the server and has a pl of 1.000.000, wouldn't that be a little unfair?

But then there would be no point to having this feature since your strength of attacks is based on your pl compared to the server average...

One main problem is where to save the PL's. If they were to save to your own Hard Drive, no matter how encrypted, somebody would find a way to give themselves the max.

If they were to be stored on a server, could you imagine the costs for that? The costs would be so high that ESF would probably have to become Pay to Play, just like MMORPG's that store your stats on the server.

Make a cvar for it maybe?

And take a firewall if stored on hd id say.

Then its ppls own choice to store pl's or not just like amx mod stored EXP @ cs with warcraft 3 mod.

The idea is possible. But I think at this stage of developement it isn't a good idea. It might be better later down the road once all the transformations have been added.

But right now, there isn't much reason to save your PL.
