Just saw the splash, first thing that came to mind was the Archon from Starcraft.

TBH i think it is the lich king, comparing the eye energy splash with the lich kings picture pretty much matches, but only time will tell.

I can only speculate on SC stuff more, cant remember much on Diablo and I havent played WoW o_o
