You can't anymore.
First you could donate money and become a FP.
After that there was a contest... I can't clearly remember. OpenBeta Contest or something like that where they were tracking bugs and reporting them and stuff.

But you can't really become a FP anymore or so I know.
Anyway good luck with that.

Wow I feel so lucky by being Force Pitter right know. It's usefull sometimes. Apart of silly jokes which mostly I don't get it, there is some cool stuff there. My donation was 100% worthy of it.

And the fact that ESF: F will be out in FP before official release made me sooo excited. I totaly forgot that ESF 1.2.3 also was available in FP back in the day. Thanks for reminder.

I dont think its something like that. But more helping out on something for the community.
If I understood well what Raven said:

In other words think of something brilliant and work that out, if it helps the community they maybe make you a FP.

Ah, that's simple then. I'll contribute my collective brain power to exploit the game. That's what I do with every game I play, try to find exploits, makes me a great tester.

Validated user = Person who validated Half Life on their STEAM account.

And I think its a good idea.

Mkillbride I dont think Raven means this.
But just like he said in his post making stuff for the community from nothing to something.
Like a new map, new models, new sounds packs or anything else what can be usefull.

There are still ways you can get into the FP right now, on occasion, someone new pops in. Not sure if I am allowed to say something about the methods though. It involves God Gundam, Kidboy, on occasions Grega whenever he feels up to it, and...teddybears.
