Yes, i know it doesnt look like 1... yet.. I am VERY new at modeling... :)

EDIT: I aded the aim and extruded it but... it turned out like this.. anyone know how I can fix this?

poly count is way too huge ; /

but if this is just being made for eyecandy yummyness then yah.. higher poly's = better quality..

going good, i want to see the rest ^_^

are you the same guy who made the watergun some weeks ago on sos?

really, dont take boxmodelling too serious (box modelling also contains cylinder, spehres etc)

and yes, watch the poly count, i think u want to use it as game model (and rather low poly since the clip has like 3 sided bends :/)

I redid the clip and added the handle, but how can I make them none flat and expand them? I tried duplicating then adding faces to the outsides of the clip but that didnt work...

I tried that... It always come out weird!!

Added an update as well

EDIT: Also how do you add curves like in this picture? I can only make it square edges unless I use cylinder and sphere ans stuff :/

yes extrude

i made the basic shape (box wich is small on top and broad at bottem)

and extruded every face twice and makde them smaller to have curved effect

you can also use a cylinder as basic and move the edges

Looks like a good start man, but with that milkshape 3d viewer is there an option to change backround color? When I turn the gun around part of it disappears because its the same color as the backround. Or maybe you could slap a skin on the gun ?

its cause its not 3d yet, only 2d and flat. The back is just backwords polys, and backwords polys done show up

Added an update.. I KNOW the body is small, I just extruded it to make it 3d. I will be making it bigger also, if you look on the other side of the body it doesnt have a back.. how would I put on on there?

EDIT: oh yeah, when I try to extrude the aim, it just moves it... why does it do this? and how can I fix this?

I think your doing it from a gun tut it was posted to me a few months ago to me.So I can use it.Your making it out of extrusion also shapes.

that looks more like an m4a1 than m16, m16 is much bigger and has a diff look

It is a m4a1 I though I changed the title :/ it just changes my little post descriotions, I thought it was the thread description
