Wednesday I've played the specialists about 5 hours with my friends!!!!

Oh, boy, i've had some mods...

I play:
Existence: deserves more goddamn respect for the work that went into it! And it's NOT a Matrix mod :|
ESF: Of-course
Natural Selection: Sexy baby drives me crazy
Counter-Strike: It can be genuine fun if you're good... FORGIVE ME!!!!
Action Half-Life: Also deserves a whole lot more respect

You guys have named some gr8 mods I miss Rocket Crowbar madly, The Specialists is an awesome piece of ass, The Opera pwned me entirely with it's wall-jumping and such and such, TFC was a classic and i'll always pwn that mod. Desert Crisis, that was pretty good, I wouldn't say the best but it definately pwned CS 10x


OK guys, Existence update time. I'm a beta tester for the latest version, 1.5. It now has approximately 12 maps, all fantastic works that follow well in the footsteps of Crinity's Hardline. They're totally rethinking the gameplay system, which confused dumbass n00bs and scared off newer players who would have loved it otherwise. No new guns, but they are being re-coded, so the shotgun is no longer such a piece of crap, the akimbo uzi's cant pwn all the other team in a single clip, etc. New voices... okay so maybe this doesn't mean much to you, but the sound guy BB is the master of voices, and he's got some gr8 stuff planned. It now uses voice comm too.

The only problem with Existence right now is that the community is coming to a stand still. Our modeller, Austin, left to work for Valve (although now he's finished the newest game he might be available for some extra stuff), our best PR man G-1 has lost his connection, our artist rituality (who owns you at any computer art form known) is currently fighting for his connection and Biggs is trying to organise time for coding. Dont worry, the next version of Existence DOES exist (pun intended), and it's gonna own all HL owners, as long as CS doesn't totally kill the mod communities, which it seems to be intent on doing.

have you not ever wanted to go on a huge mission with a group of 10 friends with the odds stacked against you with millions of ultra cool half life monsters??

you work as a team in a single player based level with some new guns, millions of old school monsters looking for flesh and even a few new one like a grunt with a mini gun! soooooo much fun fun fun!
im too lazy to post a link... but its in the planet half life hosted mods section somewhere.... still my favourate... its like serious sam half life style:laff:

other mods... theres enough out there... but i miss the old ones... there was a great mega man mod in the make... the early version showed improvements with big the big chargy cannon strapped to your arm (m favourate) and other things too, pretty fun!

another dead but once promising mod would of been BOTM.. it was pretty fun ^_^ although the odds were always stacked against poor megaman...

alas... dig around in the old mod dictorys and you could have days of fun searching... i did once and enjoyed it

sven co op is pretty fun, but it would be better if it was less like the original half life. if it had a story line, models that went with the story line instead of just various models from comics, movies etc. and all new weapons, not just 4 or 5. thats something ive never seen, a completely original co op mod.

Sven Coop is good, but there's a mod coming out which takes the co-op idea of Sven Coop and adds new enemies, new characters, new guns... I saw the models, they looked gr8, sorry but I cant remember it's name
