Opera - one of best mods...till it died...it will be back when new release comes out

ESF - what else to say? incredible mapping, incredible eye candy, incredibly low lag, incredibly sound accurate, incredibly cool!

DMZ - i started playing ESF then i never played DMZ again...

Rocket Crobar - still play, but slightly dead...

Gohan's Hidden Power - not released but mesa beta tester, and it has potiential to be as good as ESF (hopefully)! :yes:

I don't understand why you people are so against Counter-Strike. You know probably no one would be making other mods if they didn't see CS go big and make lots of $$$.

I'm not against Counter-Strike.
In fact , I say it is a great mod.
What I hate about it is the community. Everyone is high school dropouts who care about nothing more than who "pwns" who, or weither they "0wn j00" or not.
About 25% of them are complete idiots who don't know how to play, and atleast another 25% of them are jerks who don't help the team at all, and curse at and kill their team mates.

Considering how many MILLIONS of people play cs, I find that to be a very generalized statement and doesnt apply at all. I play cs, I'm not a highschool dropout, I work with my team (if its possible) and I always try and avoid leet-speak at all times. And I know how to play, here is what I think the real percents are:

15% new players
50% hackers or people blocking doors, TKing, spamming, being cheap, cussing alot or using racist terms, think they pwn everyone and are leet
25% normal people
10% Other

I don't think highschool dropouts make up even 1% of people who play cs. In fact i know alot of adults who have jobs and they still play CS, but mostly at LANs and places like that.

Exaggerated those numbers may be, but from your statistics, less than half of the players are actually trying to play and have fun, and half of them hack and ruin everyone else's fun.
I don't think a mod makes a good name for it's community with those numbers.

Yep, I'm a diehard NS fan though I refuse to play on any server other than the COFR clan's server. Great people there but tough as nails. Some ppl who play there are just god like.

I forgot all about Global Warfare but not many people played
that. It was pretty fun and a little strategic in its war-like concept.
I also liked how they had scoripions around the desert. I also used
to play Vampire Slayer. But back in the old days I was headed
more toward Counter-Strike, Action Half-Life, and Single Player
mods.
